On 17 and 18 April 2027, Belgrade will host the European Running Championships, alongside the 40th Powerade Belgrade Marathon.
Recreational runners will have a unique opportunity to be part of this spectacular event and run on the same course, in the same atmosphere and alongside Europe’s best long-distance runners.
Two days of sport, energy and world-class running experience will turn Belgrade into the centre of European running.
PARTICIPANT INFORMATION
REGISTRATION
Registrations for the 40th Powerade Belgrade Marathon open on 11 May, offering runners a unique opportunity to race in the atmosphere of the European Running Championships.
Online registration will be available until 31 March 2027, while late registrations will also be possible during the RUNNING EXPO starting from 14 April 2027.
Age Categories
• 10K – minimum age 14
• Half Marathon – minimum age 16
• Marathon – minimum age 18
Participants aged 14 to 17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian when collecting their race package to sign the consent form or provide a notarised consent document.

RACE PACKAGE COLLECTION
Participant packages must be collected in person at the Running EXPO of the 40th Powerade Belgrade Marathon upon presentation of a valid ID document.
Race package collection on the day of the event will not be possible.
REGISTRATION CHANGES OR TRANSFER OF ENTRY
Participants may update their registration details through their account on the registration platform until 10 March 2027.
In the event of a name or surname change, participants are required to contact the organizer via email at support@bgdmarathon.org.
Transfer of Entry
Participants may transfer their registration to another participant through their account on the registration platform.
A transfer fee of 5 EUR (600 RSD) will apply.
Race Distance Changes
Participants may change their registered race distance through their account on the registration platform.
If changing to a race with a higher entry fee, participants will be required to pay the difference in price.
If changing to a race with a lower entry fee, no refund will be issued for the difference in price.
WITHDRAWAL AND UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES
Participants may withdraw from the event at any time and are not obliged to inform the organiser.
Entry fees are non-refundable.
In the event of withdrawal or inability to participate due to personal or other unforeseen circumstances, the organiser is not obliged to refund the paid entry fee.
In case of cancellation or postponement of the event due to force majeure or extraordinary circumstances beyond the organiser’s control, including pandemics, natural disasters, war-related circumstances, terrorist activities, public disturbances, fires, explosions or decisions and measures imposed by state authorities that make the organisation of the event difficult or impossible, the organiser is not obliged to refund the participant package fee.
In the event of cancellation or postponement, all paid entry fees will automatically be transferred to the next edition of the event.
Should state authorities prescribe special health, safety or organisational measures necessary for the event to take place, all participants are obliged to comply with them.

• The organiser reserves the right to close registrations earlier if the maximum number of participants is reached.
• The organiser reserves the right to modify the course, schedule, as well as the start and finish locations if necessary.
• Registration is considered valid only after payment has been successfully processed.
• Participants are kindly asked to use a valid email address during registration.

The main international airport is Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport, located approximately 18 km from the city centre.
